The Middlebury Inn is seeking a part-time night auditor. The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the revenue and expense transactions, which occurred during the day at the hotel.. Duties Include; Greeting guests upon arrival, checking them in and providing them with any information they need to enjoy their stay. Reconciling financial transactions of the hotel performed that day. Answering multi-line telephone and directing calls per approved method. Responding to guest inquiries and concerns as needed. Thoroughly understands and adheres to guest payment policies, credit card processing, cash handling and direct billing. Coordinating maintenance work with the maintenance department. Maintaining guest confidentiality per Right to Privacy Act. Maintaining guest's safety and security per hotel policies. Maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk and lobby area. Performs other tasks as assigned by the Front Desk Manager and / or General Manager. Hours are 1130pm - 730am. Ideal candidate has previous hotel experience, but it is not required.
