The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service while completing overnight accounting and front desk duties. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, has strong attention to detail, and can maintain a professional and welcoming environment during the overnight hours. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service Check guests in and out during the overnight shift Answer phones and assist guests with questions and requests Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts Complete the nightly audit and balance daily financial transactions Review and verify hotel reports for accuracy Prepare and distribute daily reports for management Monitor the hotel and report any maintenance, safety, or security concerns Respond appropriately to guest complaints or emergencies Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby Communicate important information to the morning staff Follow all hotel policies and procedures Qualifications Previous hotel, front desk, customer service, or night audit experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working independently overnight Basic computer and cash-handling skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Dependable and punctual Ability to remain calm and professional in unexpected situations Must be able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling Employee hotel discounts Paid training Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
