Department:

Front Desk / Night Audit We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at the Hampton Inn. If you enjoy working independently during the quiet overnight hours and take pride in accuracy and guest service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Position Summary:

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for balancing the hotel's daily financial transactions, ensuring all revenue is accurately posted, and providing exceptional service to our late-night and early-morning guests. You will serve as the sole representative of the hotel during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing guest folios, credit card transactions, and room revenue Reconcile all hotel accounts and prepare daily financial reports for management Process guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours Handle guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism Answer phone calls and provide information about the hotel and local area Ensure the front desk, lobby, and public areas are clean and well-maintained Complete nightly security walks and safety checks Prepare breakfast setup or assist with early morning tasks as needed Maintain confidentiality and security of all guest and hotel information

Qualifications:

Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience is preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills Proficiency with hotel property management systems (e.g., Hilton ONQ, Opera, or similar) is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude Reliable transportation and availability for 3rd shift schedule (including weekends and holidays) High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
