Position Summary As a Night Auditor , you'll be the face of our establishment during the overnight hours. This role combines hospitality, customer service, and light administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth guest experience and seamless transitions between business days.
What You'll Do Guest Services :
Greet late-night arrivals, assist with check-ins/check-outs, and respond to guest inquiries with a warm and welcoming attitude.Audit & Reporting :
Reconcile daily transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure accurate accounting of the day's operations.Security & Oversight :
Monitor property safety and handle any overnight issues to maintain a calm, secure environment for guests and staff.Organization & Prep :
Assist with preparing for the next day's operations, including updating records and coordinating with day shift staff.Light Housekeeping :

1) Carry out front desk responsibilities including, but not limited to; greeting guests, performing guest transactions, balancing reports, processing reservations and credit cards. 2) Provides quality service for guests including providing pertinent information about the area. 3) Handle and resolve guest's complaints. 4) Operate switchboard giving courteous, polite service. 5) Assist in training of new front desk staff. 6) Demonstrate good communication skills. 7) Perform basic math using a calculator. 8) Have legible handwriting. 9) Knowledge of computer equipment. 10) Record information in the clerk log book and shift reports. 11) Work with other departments to ensure room status is up-to-date and room repairs are done on a timely basis. 12) Promote all marketing programs to the guest. 13) Responsible for accurate cash control to include keeping the cash drawer at a minimum and ensuring that the shift deposits balance. 14) Maintain a neat and clean appearance behind the front desk and in the lobby area. 15) Operate TDD equipment for hearing impaired guests. 16) Implement all company policies and procedures for safety and security. 17) Send and receive faxes. 18) Responsible for key control. Issues and receives both room keys and master keys. 19) Cleaning guestrooms and lobby area as needed. 20) Restocking front desk supplies. 21) Help with laundry. 22) Deliver cribs, towels or other items to guestrooms as requested. 23) Perform light maintenance duties.Mandatory Job Requirements:
1) Read, write and speak English. 2) Neat, well-groomed appearance. 3) Must have a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends. 4) Good communication skills. 5) Pleasant personality and people skills. Accountability 1) Front desk area Accounting Audits and shoppers report scores all within acceptable ranges. 2) Maintains high level of quality, service, and cleanliness. 3) Daily accountability for cash drawer, deposits, and guestroom sales. Experience or Training Required 1) High school education. 2) Previous desk experience preferred but not necessary.Job Type:
