Position Summary:
The Fiscal Support Manager is responsible for one or more academic or social programs at an institution of higher education. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Provide payroll data and reports to appropriate constituents as needed.
+ Explain payroll policies and procedures to the campus community.
+ Monitor offboarding workflows to ensure timely and accurate processing.
+ Calculate and process annual and sick leave payouts in accordance with applicable state laws.
+ Process career service bonuses and monitor, calculate, and process additional compensation.
+ Monitor and track leave balances, remittances, and time tracking activity for employees on FMLA, catastrophic leave, workers' compensation, and leave of absences, and monitor low-balance employees.
+ Balance compensatory time and leave from the time tracking system and enter information into Banner.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of higher education, academic and social programs, Human Resource practices, campus and community resources, and state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working with time and attendance systems, including monitoring reported time, reviewing leave activity, and assisting employees with related questions.

Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of an earned Bachelor's Degree with a major in Business or Accounting or related field
