This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) About the Role Lead payroll operations across the US and international subsidiaries for a global, fast-growing entertainment company. US payroll runs in-house on Workday; international payroll is processed monthly via local providers with internal oversight. This is a temp-to-hire role — the team needs someone who can start quickly and may grow into the permanent seat. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a payroll team; set service standards and escalation protocols Oversee accurate processing of salaries, bonuses, commissions, equity, benefits, taxes, and garnishments across jurisdictions Manage global payroll calendars, compliance, and audit-readiness Partner with Legal, Finance, Tax, and HR on regulatory and risk matters Own payroll controls, reconciliations, and vendor relationships Drive automation, reporting, and system improvements (Workday, integrations) Lead payroll workstreams for M&A, reorgs, and system changes Requirements Extensive Workday experience; multi-state payroll Supervisory experience Experience with equity/commission payouts Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsPreferred:
