Mariposa Landscapes is looking for a hardworking, detail orientated candidate to join our accounting team as a payroll manager. Desirable candidate should be able to work under pressure, very detail orientated, and able to maintain a healthy relationship with co-workers. Job Duties Oversee the entire bi-weekly payroll process for 3 companies across two States (CA & AZ) Review electronic time records and import records into payroll software for processing Issue manual checks when necessary Ensure timely and accurate submission of certified payroll reports Fully responsible for payroll audits Keep up with prevailing wage rates and requirements Setup wage garnishments and issue payment to corresponding agencies Prepare Quarterly payroll tax filings as well as year-end W-2 filings Oversee job duties of payroll administrators Requirements 5 years of experience processing payroll for a large workforce Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred Proficient in MS Office Experience with certified payroll is preferred Analytical and math skills Management skills Benefits Paid time off 401k retirement account with company matching Company sponsored health insurance
