Manager, Payroll Operations | Denver, CO I'm recruiting for an experienced Senior Manager of Payroll Operations to lead a large, complex payroll function for an established organization in the Denver area. This is a great opportunity for a experienced payroll leader who combines strong technical payroll expertise, team leadership, compliance knowledge, and process improvement experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day payroll operations, including regular and off-cycle payroll processing Manage, coach, and develop payroll staff Oversee payroll taxes, garnishments, reconciliations, W-2s, unemployment reporting, audits, and regulatory filings Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and wage regulations Serve as a payroll subject matter expert and resolve complex payroll issues Oversee payroll, timekeeping, HRIS/HCM, and ERP systems, including upgrades, testing, and implementations Partner closely with HR, Finance, Benefits, IT, auditors, vendors, and leadership Drive process improvement, automation, internal controls, and operational efficiencies Lead payroll-related projects and system implementations This role is 100% in office.
