Whereby, accurately processing payroll, tracking employee benefits administration, completing labor reports and forecasts, preparing schedules, and handling routine accounting duties such as A/P and A/R and more. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively with management, employees, and external partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accounting Duties Process and manage chargebacks , as needed Reconcile Travel Agent (TA) commission invoices Handle daily collections and bank deposits Prepare and issue Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices as needed Respond to customer and guest accounting inquiries via phone and email Oversight of hotel's P etty Cash and Manager's Account Payroll & HR Support Process complete bi-weekly payroll , ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations Maintain and manage employee benefit time balances (vacation, sick, PTO, etc.) Assist with limited HR responsibilities , including employee questions and documentation support Assist with hotel scheduling Responsible for union reporting Assist employees and management with union-related questions and issues , escalating them to the General Manager and/or Corp Office, as appropriate Support onboarding and employee record maintenance, as needed Reconciliations & Benefits Accounting Assist with union benefits reconciliation (monthly) Training is ongoing; employee has completed the past four months with supervision and will continue training until able to perform independently Assist with health benefit invoice reconciliation once per month Additional training to be provided by management Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in payroll and/or accounting preferred Hotel or hospitality accounting experience strongly preferred Knowledge of union environments a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Physical & Work Requirements Office based position Ability to sit for extended periods, and work on a computer Able to lift or move boxes, etc. of 30 lbs.
