Job Description:
Provides operational support for departmental staff and functions. Serves as the primary backup to leadership. Ensures quality delivery of customer support to the campus community. Coordinates production, system upgrades, maintenance, reporting, and enhancements. Processes, reconciles and records transactions. Maintains, creates, and files tax reporting records for miscellaneous payments and nonemployee compensation, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with federal tax regulations. Resolves complex questions and issues related to the departments' programs. Investigates errors, diagnoses problems, and recommends solutions. Develops and implements procedures and policies in accordance with governmental agency and regulatory mandates. Provides training on departmental policies and procedures to the campus community. Assists with the administration and operational support of the university's corporate procurement card and travel programs, including supporting the administration of program contracts. Hires, trains and evaluates student employees.
Short Job Description:
Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution, equivalent combination of education and experience. Five year's relevant experience. Supervisory or lead experience. Experience in accounts payable, disbursements, payroll operational functions and technical system support. Experience with reconciliation, reporting, system testing and configuration.
