full-time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage the company's payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll management experience, with 10 to 15+ years of experience preferred. Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable, particularly exposure to union payroll, prevailing wage, certified payroll, or public works environments. Key Responsibilities Manage the full payroll process from start to finish. Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. Review payroll data, deductions, taxes, benefits, and other adjustments. Maintain compliance with applicable payroll laws and regulations. Handle payroll-related reporting, reconciliations, and audits. Work closely with HR, Accounting, and management regarding payroll matters. Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries. Support reporting related to union payroll, prevailing wages, certified payroll, and/or public works projects as applicable. Qualifications 10 to 15+ years of payroll experience preferred. Construction industry experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance. Experience with union payroll, prevailing wage, certified payroll, or public works is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Must be local to or within a reasonable commute of Purchase, NY.
