About the Role We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience using Paycor and a strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and employee payroll support. Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the company's weekly payroll process from start to finish.
Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
Manage and maintain employee payroll information in Paycor.
Review payroll for accuracy, including hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions, commissions, and other adjustments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Manage payroll tax filings, reporting, and reconciliations.
Prepare payroll reports and provide payroll-related information to management and HR.
Work closely with HR and managers to resolve payroll issues and discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2s and other required reporting.
Stay current on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll questions.
Qualifications
5+ years of payroll management or payroll processing experience.
2+ years degree in accounting is preferred
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Paycor is required.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax requirements.
Experience managing payroll for a multi-state workforce is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Previous HRIS experience is a plus.
