Qualifications/Abilities You Bring:
- minimum of 5-7 years of direct experience as a Payroll Specialist or Manager, with a proven track record in a civilian or government environment;
- expert knowledge of payroll regulations, including FLSA, tax withholding, and reporting;
- demonstrated experience in developing and implementing SOPs;
- strong background in preparing for and managing financial and compliance audits;
- excellent training, communication, and mentoring skills;
- proficiency with [Mention your payroll software, e.g., ADP, Workday] and Microsoft Excel; and
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is highly preferred.
