Salary range: 110000k/yr - 120000k/yr

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Payroll Accounting & GL Entries:

Lead daily payroll accounting operations, general ledger entries, and complex accrual accounting.

Reconciliations & Close:

Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations for wages payable, taxes, benefits, and support monthly/year-end financial close activities.

Team Leadership & Development:

Plan, organize, and manage accounting department staff, including recruitment, training, and performance.

Process & System Maintenance:

Manage PTO/vacation reserve tracking, year-end payouts, and continuous process improvements for payroll systems like

SAP S/4HANA.
Audit & Policy Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, perform self-assessments, and manage internal/external payroll audits.

Must-Have:
Experience:

8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with direct enterprise-level payroll accounting responsibilities.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA or active pursuit strongly preferred).

Core Technical Accounting:

Deep expertise in GL accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, accrual accounting, and financial analysis.

Technical Systems:

Hands-on experience with

SAP S/4HANA

(required) and familiarity with payroll platforms like Blackline, SmartCompliance, or Blackline.

Leadership & Audit Management:

Proven management skills to oversee staff, lead audit readiness, and serve as a trusted business advisor to senior leadership. This is a direct hire opportunity.
