Payroll Manager Richmond, VA | Onsite | Full-Time $90,000 - $110,000 We're seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for a growing multi-state organization. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for payroll accuracy, compliance, payroll tax administration, process improvement, and team development. Responsibilities Manage and process multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Oversee payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, and year-end reporting. Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and process improvements. Manage payroll systems and timekeeping processes. Coach and develop payroll team members. Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to support business needs. Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on payroll experience, including multi-state payroll. 3+ years of payroll leadership experience. Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and payroll compliance. Experience improving payroll processes and controls. Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll systems; Paycom experience preferred. CPP certification preferred. Why Apply?
