Non-Exempt Exempt Position Overview The Payroll Practitioner I plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll for our Associate Employees and invoicing for our customers. This position supports day-to-day payroll operations and provides exceptional service to both employees and internal teams. Key Responsibilities
- Process and validate employee hours, timesheets, and wage calculations; identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with weekly invoicing, invoice corrections, and customer invoice formatting.
- Support pay-and bill-side credits and corrections.
- Maintain payroll and invoicing documentation.
- Troubleshoot direct deposit concerns.
- Conduct monthly meetings with branch managers to align payroll needs and questions.
- Educate and support field teams on payroll and timekeeping processes, including the benefits of automated time keeping methods and on-time payroll.
- Crosstrain in additional core payroll functions, including Friday closing procedures.
- Other special projects as assigned. Job Requirements

- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of related payroll or clerical experience Travel
- Up to 5% local travel.
Reliable transportation is needed along with a valid driver's license, meeting a satisfactory driving record through a driving record check, and 100/300/100 auto insurance coverage.
