Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees, and maintaining compliance with all relevant labor and tax laws. Your expertise in payroll systems and accounting software will help streamline payroll operations and support our commitment to employee satisfaction. Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and efficiently Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies during payroll processing Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions, including deductions, benefits administration, and tax filings Reconcile payroll accounts through analysis of spreadsheets, general ledger entries, and account reconciliation procedures Handle confidential employee information with integrity and discretion Assist in audits related to payroll tax, labor law compliance, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and adherence to legal standards Experience Proven experience working with payroll management Strong background in corporate accounting or finance with familiarity in double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, debits & credits Knowledge of employment & labor law as well as tax law related to payroll processing and compliance requirements Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and analysis Experience working with spreadsheets and financial software for account reconciliation and financial analysis Familiarity with time & attendance systems Ability to adapt quickly to new payroll systems or updates within existing platforms while supporting technical troubleshooting Join us in delivering seamless payroll services that empower our employees and uphold our organization's standards!
