Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support a large workforce in a fast-paced construction environment. This position will be responsible for processing employee timecards, assisting with payroll administration, maintaining accurate personnel records, and supporting employee onboarding and offboarding activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, bilingual (English/Spanish), and comfortable interacting with employees and management teams while ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and process employee timecards for approximatley 400 on site employees Support weekly payroll preparation and administration Maintain employee records and employment documentation Assist with employee separations and offboarding processes Coordinate collection and return of company-issued equipment Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and administrative matters Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company procedures Work closely with site leadership and human resources teams to support workforce needs Qualifications Previous payroll, administrative, HR, or office support experience preferred Experience working with large employee populations is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Excellent communication and customer service skills Bilingual English/Spanish required Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience Construction, industrial, or field workforce administration experience Payroll processing and timekeeping systems experience HR administrative support experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Full-time schedule Opportunity to gain experience supporting a large workforce Potential for additional opportunities based on business needs
