Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist . This role is ideal for a payroll professional with experience processing payroll, reviewing time records, ensuring payroll accuracy, and supporting employee timekeeping functions.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and review employee weekly timecards.
- Contact employees regarding missing or incomplete timecards.
- Calculate time worked and accurately process payroll within the company payroll system.
- Ensure timecards reflect correct clock-in and clock-out information.
- Process PTO and Sick Request Forms.
- Review client invoices to verify billing accuracy.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy.
- Support payroll and administrative functions as needed.
- Perform additional payroll-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of recent experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information professionally.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
