In this vital role, you will manage comprehensive bookkeeping functions, ensure accurate payroll processing, and maintain the integrity of our financial records. Your expertise will support our organization's financial health, compliance with accounting standards, and smooth operational workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence and growth. Responsibilities Maintain accurate general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation using accounting software such as ProContractor by Trimble Online. Process regular and certified payroll efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to payroll processing and employee compensation. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor communication. Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies promptly. Prepare detailed financial reports and statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and organizational standards. Perform account analysis to monitor financial transactions, identify errors or anomalies, and implement corrective actions as needed. Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses against budgets and assisting with financial planning efforts. Utilize multiple accounting systems and financial software such as ProContractor by Trimble or other platforms to streamline bookkeeping processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain thorough documentation of all financial transactions for audit readiness Skills Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing within diverse organizational settings, including non-profit or corporate environments. Extensive knowledge of GAAP standards, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation. Skilled in managing accounts payable and receivable processes with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent spreadsheet skills for data analysis, budgeting support, and financial report writing using tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Familiarity with payroll software systems to ensure timely processing of employee wages while maintaining compliance with legal requirements. Ability to interpret financial concepts clearly and communicate findings effectively across teams. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under deadlines.
