In this vital role, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing for 1,200 employees in a retail environment. Duties Process payroll accurately and efficiently using UKG Reconcile payroll data through account reconciliation techniques, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger adjustments to maintain financial accuracy Manage payroll tax calculations, filings, and payments in compliance with employment & labor law and governmental regulations Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure proper classification of employees and contractors, supporting employment law compliance Prepare detailed reports on payroll expenses, labor costs, and related financial data for management review and audit purposes Qualifications 3+ years of payroll experience processing payroll for 500+ employees. Experience with UKG, or Workday Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, payroll tax regulations, and governmental accounting standards Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel) for data analysis, account reconciliation, and journal entries System implementation experience is a plus
