Payroll Clerk

Position Summary We are seeking a detail oriented Payroll Clerk to support payroll operations in a fast paced environment. This position is responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large workforce while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for 300+ employees, including field and administrative staff, in compliance with applicable labor laws and standard accounting practices
• Enter daily timecards, make corrections, and run payroll proof reports
• Generate and print billing reports on a bi-weekly basis
• Enter and manage employee deductions
• Process payroll checks, including reissuing corrected checks and voiding checks in the payroll system
• Respond to payroll related inquiries regarding timesheets, pay, and related matters
• Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
• Experience with full cycle payroll processing, or a combination of education and relevant experience
• Strong data entry skills with the ability to manage high volume workloads
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to learn new processes and follow direction
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Additional Requirements
• Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays during peak periods, including harvest and billing cycles

Pay:

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
