Job Description

Responsibilities:
Process payroll for weekly, biweekly, and semimonthly payroll Enter tax related changes into payroll system i.e. address change, W-4's etc.… Calculate and process retro pay and other non-recurring payments such as bonuses, reimbursements etc.… Analyze and balance hours between Time and Attendance System and Payroll system. Analyze and interpret garnishments (Federal and State) received from agencies or courts. Provide appropriate response back to agencies and enter necessary deductions in the payroll system. Complete employment verification's for current and past employees. Research and respond to internal and external inquiries including requests for manual checks, questions regarding PTO balances and paychecks etc.… Generate system generated or ad-hoc reports. Perform complex payroll functions (historical edits, balance adjustments, tax adjustments etc...) Initiate manual checks, stop payments, and ACH reversals Monitor and ensures proper approval of PTO requests and other payroll related transactions. Coordinate the processing of terminations and final payouts. Serve as backup for Payroll Supervisor upon absence for payroll processing. Ability to manage multiple projects, changing priorities, wok under pressure and be highly organized and deadline sensitive. Audit for compliance to internal/external labor laws and policies Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Experience:
High school diploma 3-5 years' experience of payroll processing experience required Multi-state payroll experience required Prior Garnishment administration preferred Prior experience in payroll utilizing Ulti-pro or similar payroll processing system and time keeping systems preferred Excellent problem-solving skills Working experience with Microsoft Office application Solid Team player with great organizational skills Work well under pressure and deadlines Call 559-734-4002!

Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
