Job Description

Overview Do you have strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset? As a Certified Payroll Specialist, you will review and evaluate all certified payroll and ensure compliance with labor laws. Your role will involve managing certified payroll reports, collaborating with project managers to address any payroll-related issues and ensuring that all aspects of payroll compliance are meticulously handled. What you will be doing Evaluates and submits all Certified Payroll through Company tracking tool to ensure compliance with labor laws and payroll regulations. Supports and resolves labor compliance discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner to avoid penalties for payroll or reporting non-compliance. Corresponds with subcontractors, vendors, project owners and project management team to support inquiries or issues with their Certified Payrolls to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Supports project management staff with Certified Payroll inquiries to efficiently and effectively resolve inquiries or issues. Reviews project contract specification documentation to ensure Certified Payroll process conforms to contract requirements. What we are looking for Associate's Degree in a related field preferred. 2+ years construction administrative experience preferred. Attention to detail and strong analytical mindset. Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure; self-starter; must take personal initiative and willingly assume responsibility and ownership. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of Davis Bacon and Labor Laws preferred. JD Edwards system experience preferred.
