Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurate, end-to-end payroll processing in a high-volume environment. The role uses Workday and automated timekeeping systems to process payroll for multiple shifts and job types, manage reimbursements, resolve payroll issues, and ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws and W-2 reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
Process full-cycle payroll accurately for employees across multiple shifts and job types.
Workday:
Use Workday to process, review, and maintain payroll information.
Time & Attendance:
Review timekeeping data, shift differentials, and attendance information for payroll accuracy.
Compliance:
Ensure payroll processing complies with federal, state, and local requirements. W-2
Reporting:
Support accurate W-2 reporting and payroll documentation.
Reimbursements:
Process employee reimbursements and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Issue Resolution:
Research and resolve payroll and timekeeping issues with employees, HR, and managers.
PeopleSoft/UKG:
Utilize PeopleSoft and automated time-and-attendance systems as required.
Records & Audits:
Maintain accurate payroll records and support audits and payroll-related reporting.
MUST HAVE
Must have hands-on Workday experience. Must have 3+ years of full-cycle, end-to-end payroll processing experience performed in-house, not outsourced payroll. Must have experience processing payroll for multiple shifts, differentials, and various job types. Must have experience with employee payroll processing, reimbursements, and payroll compliance. Must have knowledge of federal Form W-2 reporting requirements and federal/state/local payroll regulations. Must have experience with automated time and attendance systems; UKG experience is strongly preferred.
Shift Timing:
8:30AM-5PM, M-F CH1
Pay:
