This vital role combines administrative support with payroll management responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate employee compensation processing. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and possess a strong understanding of payroll systems, accounting software, and labor law compliance. Duties Manage and process payroll using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments. Enter and verify data within payroll and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) platforms, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries for financial records, utilizing accounting software like QuickBooks or PeopleSoft. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws by staying updated on tax regulations and governmental accounting standards. Support HR functions by maintaining employee records, processing new hire documentation, and assisting with benefits administration. Conduct account reconciliations, analyze payroll data for discrepancies, and prepare reports for management review. Assist with general administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, file management, and supporting finance-related activities. Qualifications Proven experience in payroll management, accounting, or finance roles with familiarity in payroll systems such as Workday, Kronos, Ceridian, or ADP. Strong knowledge of payroll processing procedures, tax law compliance, labor law regulations, and governmental accounting standards. Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), accounting software (QuickBooks, PeopleSoft), and HRIS platforms. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills for account reconciliation and data entry accuracy. Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping principles, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and financial concepts.
