The Payroll Coordinator independently performs a full range of high-volume payroll functions. You will efficiently process paychecks, ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, and collaborate seamlessly with Human Resources and department managers.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
Process paychecks, reimbursements, and manage payroll for multiple shifts and job types (hourly, salaried, per diem).
Compliance Tracking:
Ensure all payroll activities adhere to federal, state, and local requirements, including CA labor laws and W-2 reporting.
Systems Operation:
Utilize PeopleSoft ERP and Automated Time and Attendance systems.
Internal Support:
Work closely with HR and department staff to manage inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
MUST HAVE
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent 3+ years of experience in employee payroll processing and reimbursements Hands-on experience using PeopleSoft ERP in a high-volume environment Experience with Automated Time and Attendance Systems (API Healthcare or Kronos highly preferred) Hospital or healthcare payroll experience, including processing multiple shifts and job types Strong knowledge of Federal Form W-2 Reporting Requirements and California labor laws
Shift Timing:
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Weekly schedule: M-F CH1
Pay:
