Description Senior Payroll Specialist Santa Clara, CA (onsite) Are you a seasoned payroll professional looking to join a stable and friendly team? Do you have at least eight years of payroll experience, with excellent experience processing payroll and supporting with process improvements. We are looking for a payroll professional for a wonderful new job in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will bring at least eight years of experience in payroll, feel comfortable leading payroll processing, and have software experience with either Paycom, ADP, or UKG. Key Responsibilities Own full-cycle payroll , including processing, check runs, corrections, and reconciliations Support month-end close activities related to payroll and related accruals Assist with internal and external audits , including payroll documentation and support schedules Support compliance, training, and disciplinary processes in partnership with HR and leadership Work cross-functionally with Finance leadership to ensure payroll accuracy, reporting integrity, and operational alignment Required Qualifications Strong end-to-end payroll background with a full-picture perspective beyond transaction processing Solid accounting foundation , ideally with prior experience in a payroll accountant-type role Hands-on experience supporting exempt and non-exempt employees , including overtime and shift differentials Experience supporting hourly, multi-shift workforces ; manufacturing or operational environments translate well Proven self-starter able to operate with limited day-to-day oversight and manage competing priorities independently If you are interested in this wonderful new job please apply online today!
