Seasonal Bilingual Payroll Administrator Sanger, CA We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Seasonal Payroll Administrator to support our payroll department in Sanger, CA. This administrative-focused role is essential to ensuring smooth payroll operations, accurate data management, and timely communication across multiple sites. Position Overview The Seasonal Payroll Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Payroll Manager and broader payroll team. This role is responsible for maintaining payroll records, assisting with data entry and reporting, coordinating communication with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring payroll processes are completed accurately and on schedule.

Pay Rate:
$19.00/hour
Requirements:
Bilingual in English and Spanish Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to the payroll department, ensuring all payroll-related documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed. Assist in processing weekly payroll by reviewing timesheets, verifying employee data, and identifying discrepancies prior to submission. Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and deductions. Review and approve Payroll Action Requests (PARs) submitted by staffing agencies and internal departments. Coordinate with staffing agencies and internal teams to ensure timely submission of payroll data and required documentation. Generate, compile, and distribute weekly and monthly payroll and labor cost reports for accounting and leadership teams. Support compliance efforts by reviewing payroll data for adherence to federal, state, and company policies, including multi-state tax requirements. Assist with auditing payroll records and preparing documentation for internal and external audits. Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, and deductions in a professional and timely manner. Manage high-volume email and phone communications related to payroll questions and requests. Organize and maintain payroll files, ensuring confidentiality and proper record retention practices. Serve as a backup to the Admin Payroll Administrator and assist with cross-functional administrative tasks as needed. Participate in special projects, process improvements, and other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data entry, basic formulas, and reporting) and Word Comfortable handling high-volume administrative workflows, including phone and email correspondence Basic understanding of payroll systems and processes;experience with Paychex or similar systems is a plus Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience) Work Environment Office-based role within a distribution or corporate setting Standard 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday May require occasional overtime and weekend availability during peak payroll periods Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines Full Steam Staffing will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act.
