We're seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Administrator to join our growing team. This role is vital in ensuring that our clients' and internal payroll processes run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for multiple clients on a [weekly/bi-weekly/monthly] basis
- Maintain and update payroll records, including wage adjustments, new hires, terminations, and benefit deductions
- Verify timesheets, calculate wages, and ensure timely and accurate payments
- Respond to and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees or clients
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll, tax, and labor regulations
- Collaborate with Taxpath's Payroll Manager and Operations Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2s, 1099s, and other required filings
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years payroll processing experience
- Working knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks, Paychex, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
