Job Description We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our growing construction team in Walnut Creek, CA. This individual will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining payroll compliance, supporting union payroll administration, and assisting with certified payroll reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage payroll activities accurately while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. • Experience processing payroll from start to finish
• Union payroll experience
• Certified payroll experience
• Payroll tax filing experience
• Experience using payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Workday, Avionté, etc.
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work onsite in Walnut Creek 5 days/week
• Construction industry experience
• Prevailing wage experience
• Labor compliance reporting
• Experience supporting large employee populations
