Temporary contract through the end of the year, with potential extension into January About the Opportunity We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator or Senior Payroll Coordinator to provide maternity leave coverage for a well-established organization in the construction industry. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team environment and receive training before assuming full payroll responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience processing high-volume payroll, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting payroll deadlines. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll for approximately 450 employees across multiple entities. Audit payroll data and reconcile timekeeping records to ensure accuracy. Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with company policies. Complete payroll reporting and maintain payroll records. Enter new hire and termination information into payroll systems. Communicate with employees regarding payroll and timecard inquiries. Support additional payroll administration and data entry functions. Qualifications Required Experience processing high-volume weekly payroll. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience with UKG Payroll or Vista Viewpoint Timekeeping or related timekeeping systems.
