About the Opportunity A growing multi-state organization is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for approximately 1000+ employees across multiple states. This is a contract opportunity ideal for a payroll professional who can work independently, communicate effectively with employees, and manage full-cycle payroll processing in a fast-paced environment. I. Key Responsibilities Process full-cycle payroll for a multi-state employee population Support payroll operations for approximately 900 employees (primarily hourly workforce) Review, audit, and scrub payroll-related reports for accuracy Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries Collaborate with accounting and operations teams on payroll-related tasks Provide support for year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting Assist with additional accounting functions, such as accounts payable support, when needed II. Required Qualifications Experience processing full-cycle payroll Experience with multi-state payroll, including California payroll regulations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively III. Preferred Qualifications Experience with payroll platforms such as Paylocity or similar systems Exposure to accounting or accounts payable functions Familiarity with reporting and payroll data analysis Why choose Addison Finance & Accounting?
