• Senior Payroll Technician
• Position Summary
• The Senior Payroll Technician performs advanced payroll functions and serves as a subject matter expert within the payroll team. This role is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll and off-cycle pay runs, ensuring accurate pay and deduction calculations, troubleshooting complex payroll issues, and providing guidance and support across payroll operations.
• Key Qualifications
• + Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience required. + Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax regulations, deductions, and payroll compliance. + Experience researching and resolving complex payroll discrepancies. + Ability to work independently while supporting team members and internal customers.
• Education & Certification Requirements
• + High School Diploma or GED required. + Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred. +
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
• or •Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)•credential must be obtained •within 18 months of hire.
