Key Responsibilities of the Paylocity Payroll Specialist Process payroll for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Review and audit timekeeping data, PTO, and employee changes prior to payroll submission Manage employee data including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and updates Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper documentation and system setup Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee support Prepare and manage 1099s and related year-end payroll reporting Support payroll tax filings, compliance reporting, and audit documentation Serve as a point of contact for payroll and HR-related employee inquiries Maintain HRIS records and ensure data integrity across systems Collaborate with accounting and HR teams to support reporting, compliance, and process improvements Qualifications for the Paylocity Payroll Specialist Proven experience in payroll processing with exposure to HR functions Paylocity experience required Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and reporting (including 1099s) Experience supporting onboarding, benefits, and employee lifecycle processes Knowledge of workers' compensation and HR compliance regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent communication and problem-solving skills This Paylocity Payroll Specialist role is best suited for a professional who wants to expand beyond payroll into HR, while maintaining ownership of a critical function within a structured and collaborative organization. #LI-TJ1 #
