This role combines payroll processing, administrative support, and data management to ensure smooth operations. This position requires excellent communication skills and is the point of contact for our payroll clients. Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and efficiently by inputting data from timesheets into software and verifying accurate entries. Maintain and update employee records in our payroll software. Handle time & attendance data entry, verify hours worked, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure correct payroll calculations. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while handling payroll data, employee records, and financial documents. Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll procedures by staying current with changes in tax law, labor law compliance requirements, and industry best practices. This position also serves as a backup receptionist when needed. Qualifications Familiarity with accounting software including Drake, QuickBooks or similar platforms. An understanding of various tax withholdings/benefits/deductions is necessary. Experience in payroll processing, related functions, or college education is
PREFERRED.
Prior experience working in an office setting is
REQUIRED.
Must be familiar with operating standard office equipment. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and record keeping. Excellent math, email and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of payroll tax laws, labor law compliance standards, and technical accounting principles such as debits & credits and double-entry bookkeeping. Need to be detail oriented and have a good memory.

From $17.00 per hour
