Our job is to craft experiences that help build stronger brands—and we relish it. Due to massive growth, we are looking to add a Payroll Coordinator to add to our team. This person will provide day-to-day administrative support to the payroll department. This role manages general correspondence, routes time-sensitive payroll documents, maintains organized records, and assists employees, agencies, and internal partners with routine requests. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, discreet with confidential information, eager to learn, and comfortable working accurately in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. This position will report directly to the Manager of Payroll and be based out of Nth Degree's corporate office in Duluth GA. We do function in a hybrid capacity; this position is two-three days in the office.
Shift Schedule:
Starts at 8:30am Salary Range 55,000 - 65,000
USD What You'll Do:
Monitor the general payroll email inbox; respond to routine questions and route complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate payroll team member. Receive, date-stamp, sort, scan, distribute, and track incoming and outgoing payroll mail. Handle administrative intake for garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, creditor notices, and other wage-withholding documents; promptly review and process daily. Process, respond and file unemployment claims in accordance with company procedures and authorization requirements. Answer general phone and email inquiries from employees, managers, government agencies, courts, and approved third parties with professionalism and timely follow-up. Prepare standard letters, forms, correspondence, reports, mailing packages, and document copies Track due dates, outstanding requests, returned mail, and follow-up items; escalate urgent or overdue matters. Assist with data entry, employee record updates, document collection, and other routine payroll support as trained and assigned. Protect confidential employee, compensation, banking, tax, and legal information always. Provide backup administrative support during high-volume periods and perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years payroll experience required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional email etiquette. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with ADP Work Force Now preferred. Ability to prioritize multiple requests, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Ability to learn new systems, procedures, and terminology quickly. Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
