In this role, you will help create trust and confidence by ensuring team members are paid accurately, and that questions are handled with care and urgency. If you actively look for opportunities to improve processes, create efficiencies, leverage automation, and introduce innovative solutions, we want you on our team! What You'll Do Process accurate semi-monthly payroll for approximately 700 employees across multiple states (WA, ID, CA, and OR) and legal entities. Audit payroll data including hours worked, commissions, bonuses, deductions, taxes, garnishments, PTO balances, and benefit deductions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Operations to support payroll accuracy and compliance. Identify opportunities to improve payroll workflows, reporting, automation, and operational efficiencies. Draft, distribute, and maintain clear, professional, and timely written communications to team members and leaders across multiple locations. What We're Looking For 3+ years of payroll processing experience. Experience processing payroll for 500+ employees. Experience processing multi-state payroll. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, garnishments, and deductions. Experience with HRIS/payroll systems such as Paylocity, ADP, UKG, Workday, or similar platforms. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated experience using Excel for formulas, data analysis, auditing, and reporting. A mature team player that thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment. Approach any challenge with a can-do attitude and take a creative approach to accomplishing tasks. Bonus Points CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Compensation & What We Offer Pay:
$24.04 - $28.85 per hour, paid semi-monthly (twice a month).
