What you'll do Payroll (bi-monthly) Take our payroll data from Excel, then format. Enter adjustments, including mileage reimbursements, time off, bonuses and deductions Enter or import it into ADP Prepare each payroll for our approval by the agreed deadline Answer payroll questions from management and employees Bookkeeping (QuickBooks) Record payroll and reconcile it to ADP reports Reconcile bank, credit card and intercompany accounts monthly Manage payables and receivables Close the books and deliver monthly financial statements by set date of the following month Co-ordinate with our CPA at year end What we're looking for 5+ years of hands-on experience with both ADP and QuickBooks QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred; CPP or FPC a plus Strong Excel skills Strong hands-on experience with payroll processing and ADP, including payroll changes, new hires, terminations, deductions, PTO, reimbursements, and payroll reporting. Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and accounting processes, including reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting. Experience preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and budget-versus-actual reports. Strong Excel skills and the ability to organize and analyze financial data. Experience working with multi-location or multi-entity organizations is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organized employee and financial records. Strong communication skills and the ability to respond to employees and management in a timely and professional manner. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of payroll and financial responsibilities.
