Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and processing of regular payroll cycles. Process new hires, terminations, pay changes, garnishments, and benefit deductions. Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and payroll procedures. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policy and retention requirements. Support internal and external payroll audits as needed

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree to be considered for full-time opportunities. 3 years of payroll experience. Basic knowledge of payroll processes, wage and hour laws, and payroll taxes. Proficiency with payroll systems (Workday and Kronos is a plus), MS Suites, Proficient with Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Job Description:

We need candidates specializing in "backend" payroll or after payroll has been processed. This position is looking for candidates that have strong payroll tax processing experience.

Skills:

Previous work with state agencies Work on tax notices, work with tax providers, power of attorneys, and 3rd party authorizations Has multi-state tax experience MS Office Suites (Excel)

Ensuring all aspects of the project are thoroughly considered and executed

Education:

High school with at least 2-3 years payroll tax experience
