ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a detail-oriented Payroll Compliance Specialist to keep our payroll, government reporting, and employee-compliance programs accurate and on deadline. You'll process multi-entity and certified payroll, manage required filings, and administer leave, benefits, and safety programs. This is an office-based position in Peoria, IL, supporting all Getz companies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Process multi-entity and certified payroll, including prevailing wage reporting File
EEO-1, OSHA
300/300A, ACA, and Form 5500 reports on deadline Administer
FMLA/ADA
leave, COBRA, drug screening, and workers' comp claims Oversee DOT compliance for CDL drivers, including files and MVR review Safeguard personnel files, serve as notary, and flag handbook updates
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Degree in HR, business, or accounting, or equivalent experience 3+ years in payroll, HR compliance, or regulatory reporting Working knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA recordkeeping; high accuracy and strong organization Paycom or similar HRIS and Microsoft Office proficiency; ability to obtain a notary commission Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred, not required; SHRM-CP/PHR and prevailing wage experience a plus Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
SCHEDULE & PAY
This is a full-time, weekday day-shift position, Monday through Friday, based in our Peoria, IL office. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on your experience.

Paid Time Off — 10 days of PTO in your first year, growing with tenure to 20 days at 20 years of service (includes Illinois Paid Leave). Paid Holidays — Eight paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.
