State of Illinois Alert IT Solutions is looking for a Payroll Specialist with strong experience processing payroll on older/mainframe systems. The role involves handling complex payroll transactions, ensure accuracy, supporting compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilites:

process payroll using legacy/mainframe systems handle overtime, ncakpay, allowances, etc. Use centyral payroll system, Wage, DNRA, and time keeping tools apply personnel code, rules, pay plan, and collective bargaining agreements review payroll data, resolve discrepancies, maintain accuracy Supervise and support payroll staff as needed use MS outlook, word, and excel for documentation and reporting

Qulaifications:

Strong experience in payroll using mainframe/legacy sytsems 1 year od experience with CPS, WAGE, DNRA, and timekeeping systems 1 year exp in complex payroll calculations 1 yr exp in HR/payroll rules, policies 1 year supervisory expeience Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
