Job Description

Ford Meter Box is seeking a highly organized individual at the corporate headquarters in Wabash, Indiana, for the position of Payroll Administrator. The role will involve managing the end-to-end payroll process for a salaried and hourly workforce. The position will perform leadership functions and ensure total compliance with federal, state, and local manufacturing labor laws and tax regulations. The role demands high accuracy, strict confidentiality, and seamless integration with multi-state accounting and human resource functions. The ideal prospect will hold a four-year degree in accounting, business administration, or human resources. HRIS expertise is required. Experience with the evaluation of hosted solutions is preferred. Strong understanding of federal and state reporting requirements is necessary. Ability to evaluate and improve processes is a must.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Payroll, time, attendance, and benefits software administration and optimization Multi-department project management Acting liaison with federal and state taxing authorities Resolution to payroll inquiries and discrepancies Tax and regulatory compliance with multi-state payroll operations Deduction management for benefits and retirement savings Management reporting and analysis Ford Meter Box is a leader in the manufacturing of waterworks distribution components.
