Payroll Clerk

March 31, 2026 Payroll Clerk Denham Springs, LA Starting at $25 / per hour Full time Apply Now Back Job Description Snelling Staffing is looking for a seasoned payroll professional for an industrial company in the Denham Springs area. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for preparing semi-monthly payroll for over 100 employees including reviewing time and administering regulatory requirements. This position will be full-time working Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm (off at 3:00pm on Fridays) for pay starting at $25 per hour and willing to pay more depending on experience.

Payroll Clerk Duties:

• Process payroll for employees including reviewing and importing hours from time and attendance system
• Enter payroll tax and direct deposit information
• Administering regulatory requirements (e.g. garnishments, tax levies, support orders, and other adjustments to pay as necessary).
• Prepare quarterly tax credit reports
• Respond to emails and questions in a timely, positive, and professional manner
• Other administrative duties when required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of previous payroll experience
• Experience using Quick Books is

REQUIRED!

• Prior experience working in the industrial field with a PLUS!
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
• High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
