Job Description

Payroll Coordinator Reports To Controller Core Function Key Responsibilities Payroll Execution:
Runs bi-weekly staff payroll and monthly AFC payroll using CheckWriters . This includes labor allocations and ensuring all wage/hour law compliance.
Maintains:
Check log, employee data, compensation, deduction updates.
Process:
Bi-weekly 403(b) and quarterly pension deposits.
Prepares:
Journal entries to be posted to the general ledger.
Reconciliation:
Handles fringe benefit monthly, quarterly 941, position control, time off accruals, and other reporting requirements.
Year-End Compliance:
Handles high-stakes reporting including W-2s , ACA (Affordable Care Act) filings, and insurance renewals.
Data Integrity:
Archives digital payroll reports for audit readiness.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
At least 3 years of payroll experience
Software Stack:
Priority is placed on CheckWriters and Abila MIP , alongside the Excel requirements.
Education:
Associate's degree is preferred.
Aptitude:
High mathematical accuracy and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee salary data.
