What You'll Do As a Payroll Specialist, you'll become a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Payroll Processing Process payrolls accurately and on schedule for multiple clients. Review payroll reports and verify accuracy before submission. Balance payrolls and identify discrepancies. Process adjustments, reimbursements, garnishments, and special payroll transactions. Ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met. Client Support Build strong relationships with clients. Respond to payroll, tax, timekeeping, and workforce management questions. Help clients navigate payroll-related challenges. Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and virtual meetings. Compliance & Accuracy Maintain accurate employee and payroll records. Assist with payroll tax reporting and compliance activities. Identify potential errors before they become larger issues. Follow established controls and procedures to maintain accuracy. Problem Solving & Process Improvement Research issues and identify practical solutions. Collaborate with teammates to improve workflows. Suggest ideas that improve efficiency and client satisfaction. Learn and leverage technology and AI tools to streamline processes.
