Our Payroll and Human Resources team plays a critical role in supporting our workforce by ensuring employees are paid accurately, records are maintained properly, and payroll-related services are delivered with exceptional customer service. What You'll Do The Payroll Coordinator / Payroll Specialist I provides administrative and transactional support to the Payroll department. This position removes routine processing activities from senior payroll staff while building additional internal payroll expertise and bench strength. Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the payroll inbox.
- Process and distribute payroll-related mail and correspondence.
- Complete employment verification requests (VOEs).
- Maintain employee payroll records and documentation.
- Upload and manage termination-related payroll documents.
- Respond to routine payroll inquiries from employees and managers.
- Support payroll document retention and file management processes.
- Provide employee support for payroll self-service portals, Trimble, and related systems.
- Assist with new-hire payroll setup and employee profile creation.
- Administer direct deposit requests and changes.
- Maintain payroll filing systems and records.
- Process routine employee payroll profile updates.
- Prepare payroll communications and notifications.
- Generate and distribute basic payroll reports.
- Assist with payroll audits and internal record reviews.
- Support payroll processing activities as assigned following training and demonstrated proficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. What You Bring
- Understanding of payroll administration principles and data management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn payroll systems, policies, and procedures quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Respectful handling of confidential employee information.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and support colleagues.

- 1-3 years of payroll, accounting, HR, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience working with payroll systems or ERP platforms preferred.
- Construction industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Accounting or related degree preferred.
- Experience supporting employee records, reporting, and administrative processes preferred. What We Offer

Pay:
