Job Description

Join Samsung Biologics as a HR Payroll Coordinator and play a critical role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately, on time, and with confidence. As part of our Human Resources team, you will support payroll operations for a growing workforce while contributing to a positive employee experience through exceptional service, accuracy, and attention to detail. This role offers the opportunity to work across payroll, benefits, leave administration, and employee lifecycle processes in a fast-paced and collaborative biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. If you thrive in a detail-oriented role, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in delivering high-quality work, we encourage you to apply. Support bi-weekly payroll process for all employees. Support the verification of timekeeping records and hours worked to ensure accurate pay. Support the calculation and processing of special pay, including bonuses and retroactive adjustments.
Onboarding & Offboarding:
enter new hire payroll profiles into Workday/ADP. Support the site Benefits & Payroll Partner by providing administrative support for tracking leaves of absence and supporting the benefit open enrollment process. Preferred 1-3 years of payroll processing using ADP WFN or similar software such as Paylocity or Paycom. Prior experience working in manufacturing or bio pharmaceutical industry, preferred and supporting a large workforce 500 or more employees. Strong intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables. Attention to detail and high accuracy to prevent financial errors. Strong numerical and analytical skills for accurate calculations. Strong organizational skills to identify specific actions & timelines for personal accountabilities and then delivering in a timely manner. Capability to manage highly sensitive, personal financial data with total confidentiality. Committed to delivering high-quality results, overcoming challenges, focusing on what matters, execution. Continuously looking for opportunities to learn, build skills and share learning both internally and externally. Building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally. The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $67,237 to $89,650 plus annual bonus, when eligible. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
