Finance Adecco is hiring a Payroll Coordinator I for a temporary maternity leave coverage role in Newington, NH. This is a great opportunity for candidates with payroll or administrative experience who are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing and data entry
- Review employee payroll records, pay changes, new hires, and terminations
- Resolve timekeeping discrepancies and follow up on timecard approvals
- Process staffing agency labor reports
- Maintain payroll records and generate reports
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Support payroll deductions, 401(k) reporting, employment verifications, and workers' compensation reporting
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of payroll, administrative, or related experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities
- Payroll system experience is a plus
