POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Payroll Associate is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with other members of the HR team supporting the overall mission of the organization. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding, benefits administration, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review time sheets, wage computation, and other information to accurately process payroll and detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records. Record Associate information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records. Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, and unemployment and medical insurance. Coordinate special programs, such as United Way campaigns, that involve payroll deductions. Accurately enter and track all vacation and attendance and process disciplinary for attendance. Assist Benefits Coordinator with benefits such as FMLA, insurance and 401K. Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires. Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to Associates or job applicants. Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and classifications. Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information. Monthly duties including hours reporting, service awards, perfect attendance and power point presentations. Achieve company and department business plans for Health and Safety Goals. Other duties as assigned by the HR Coordinator. Education Associates Degree or equivalent experience Experience One to two years related experience
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
